ausrittThe horse and animal sanctuary Tara in El Roque is our centre for the encounter between animals and humans. We offer Mindfulness with our horses and courses for "Mindful - Trust Training" with our animals. Once a day we ride out here - along the spectacular cliffs of El Cotillo or in the evening romantically into the sunset. The rides last about 2 hours and are suitable for individuals as well as couples and families. In the mixed groups we make sure that beginners and more experienced riders alike have fun. And of course our horses do too! For advanced riders, we are also happy to arrange personalised VIP rides with individual routes, depending on experience.

The Animal Rescue Shelter Tara is not only home to our horses. As a non-profit organisation, we have developed over the years into a veritable "Noah's Ark", where all kinds of four-legged friends (and the three-legged goat Flocke) have found a loving home.
The senior horses Helia and Apache are allowed to enjoy their well-deserved retirement among their younger peers. In between, there are dogs, cats, ponies, chickens, donkeys, pigs and (dwarf) goats.

It is noble, strong, sensitive, friendly.
They call it Poni, Póney, Pony, Poney....
And it likes to accompany your children for half an hour or an hour when they go for a walk. There are three ponies living with us, Rey, Kalfax and Mozart. You can find more about them in our animal gallery.

After riding the ponies, your children will have a place to play, a trampoline to run around on, and outdoor activities.... Can you imagine it? Live it at Granja Tara Fuerteventura.

Yoga is a philosophical teaching whose holistic approach is to bring body, mind and soul into harmony. Our yoga offerings vary from Hata , to Vinyasa and Aerial Yoga , and we also offer yoga with mini - goats at times. For me, yoga is about being in control of my mind and body to be the best version of myself every day and to be able to live happily with what I have in the present moment. Yoga is the connection of body and mind. The power to control the mind is the ability to remove anything that is an obstacle to happiness. Control of the body is achieved through the practice of asanas (yoga postures) to teach us to control the realities of the mind, the fluctuations and the flow of energy. We live in a chaotic society, we don't know how to breathe, our thoughts are uncontrolled, we accumulate money, power, friendships... without nourishing ourselves with them. Yoga teaches us to return to our essence, to be children, to live with what we really need and enjoy it now, to be grateful, to observe ourselves and to really love ourselves.

On the carver boards, you can not only cruise casually through town, but also work on the right techniques for surfing on dry land through targeted repetition. The techniques are the same, and you practice your balance and the correct position of your shoulders and legs. Our coaches practice the exact steps with you so that you too can quickly become a rider!

We'll show you what's important when riding waves, no matter what board you're on. We'll help you rent boards and fins and always find you the best location. Bodyboarding is all about getting a feel for the waves and familiarising yourself with the environment. Flexibility plays a big role with us, so you don't have to worry if you end up choosing the surfboard.
